Centerstone's Foster Care Select

Centerstone’s Foster Care Select program provides therapeutic foster care for youth 0-21 as well as support for the families caring for them. Being connected to a behavioral health center allows families to access health and psychiatric services, therapy and life skills coaching for youth through our organization. Support groups, fun family events, training opportunities, and access to evidence based treatment are provided by our highly qualified team who is trained in mental health and wellbeing and utilizing trauma informed practices.  

Childplace, Inc.

Childplace is a faith-based licensed agency providing care to children who have been removed from their homes as a result of abuse, neglect or abandonment. We take a collaborative team approach in providing services to these children believing each child is of great worth. Debra Corn Foster Care

Debra Corn Foster Care (DCFC) is a family run organization and was created almost 40 years ago in the state of Indiana. It currently consists of five offices which are located in Evansville, Winslow, Bloomfield, Indianapolis and Marion, Indiana. These offices provide services to foster parents throughout the state and offer personalized, one-on-one training and supportive services to foster parents around the clock. DCFC provides billing, case management, licensing, respite services and offer trainings both in-person and virtually. We look forward to working with you!

Dockside Services, LLC

For over 20 years, Dockside Services has provided behavioral health services and support for children, adults, and families in Indiana. Our Medicaid program, home, community, substance abuse and foster care services are tailored to address each client’s needs and strengths. The behavioral health services we provide aim to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental health problems within the communities where clients and staff reside. Our services for children, youth, and families include therapeutic foster care, supervised visitation, case management, parent education, parenting assessments, family preservation, transition from restrictive placement and substance use services. We provide outpatient therapy, individual and group substance use counseling, and diagnostic and evaluation services for adults.

Family Ark Inc

Since 1973, Family Ark, Inc., has collaborated with the Indiana Department of Child Services to provide quality human services to children and their families across Southern Indiana. Family Ark provides foster care, family preservation, home-based, behavioral health, transitional housing and substance use treatment programs in Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott, and Washington counties in Indiana. Over the past 50 years, Family Ark has consistently provided innovative, evidence-based services that are responsive to our community needs.

FosterHope of Meridian Health Services

FosterHope is Meridian Health Services’ foster care program connecting children in need of emotional, behavioral or mental health support with foster parents trained to meet those needs. Foster parents are trained to provide therapeutic care with the hope of reuniting children with their families. Participants have access to Meridian’s broad spectrum of physical, mental and social health services. We are inclusive and welcome foster and adoptive parents from all walks of life – regardless of religion, race, gender, or sexual orientation.

Hands of Hope

Hands of Hope is a group of champions for children who mobilize the church to help solve the foster care crisis in Indiana. Last year we were able to impact the lives of 4,900 children in foster care by motivating individuals to get involved and supporting those who are.

Hope House

Hope House is where new friendships can be fostered, parenting skills can be practiced, and meals can be shared around a table. As a result, we will see hope restored, families rebuilt and people take steps closer to Christ. Our house is open for service providers and families to have supervised visits together- Monday-Friday, 9 am - 7 pm- a safe place for DCS to host emergency removals when needed.

Indiana GAL/CASA

GAL/CASA volunteers advocate for the best interests of children in court due to abuse or neglect. They visit the child, get to know them, ascertain what kind of services they may need, and what they hope will happen in the case. They review documents, talk to other professionals involved in the case, meet with the parents, meet with the placement (relatives, a family friend, or foster parents). The volunteer then prepares a summary for the court and makes an independent and objective recommendation to the court about what should happen in the case to have the best outcome, which serves the best interests, of the child.

Indiana Kids Belong

Indiana Kids Belong equips communities to dramatically improve the experiences and outcomes of kids in foster care. We are achieving our mission in three key focus areas: Family Recruiting – We believe in a family for every child. Community Engagement - We believe in a Foster Friendly community for every family. Coalitions For Change - We believe in hope for every community. We collaborate with government leaders, child welfare, business, faith and civic organizations to drive sustainable change in foster care.

Indiana MENTOR

At Indiana MENTOR, a member of the Sevita family, we believe all children belong in loving families where they can lead full, joyful lives. In our therapeutic foster care program, we place children with trauma or behavioral challenges in loving foster homes where they can heal and grow. With the help of our caring staff, foster parents who we call Mentors provide the support children need to thrive, wherever their life journeys take them. We help children build the healing bonds and life skills they need to have bright futures. As a therapeutic foster parent, you will receive the full support of a team of professionals experienced in trauma-informed care. In addition to a dedicated coordinator who will visit your home regularly, we also provide 24/7 on-call emergency support, skill development opportunities, and will connect you with other professionals, foster parents and community resources.

Interact Family Services

Our goal is to support and advocate for those individuals and families who are willing to help children in need of a stable and nurturing home through foster care. Interact Family Services provides: *A Social Worker, with a manageable case load, available to help you navigate the foster care system and is available 24/7 for reporting and support. *Respite care for the foster child as needed. *Flexible pre-service training schedule for initial licensing and several comprehensive follow-on educational opportunities.  

Isaiah 117 House

When children are removed from their homes out of concern for their welfare, they are usually brought to a child welfare office to await placement with a foster family. This wait can be several hours or several days. Isaiah 117 House provides a comforting home where these children instead can be brought to wait – a place that is safe with friendly and loving volunteers who provide new clothes, toys, and snuggly blankets to help change the way foster care begins.

Josiah White's

Josiah White’s is a Christian family services ministry that has been caring for children, teens, and families since 1850. Josiah White's supports families while they make an eternal impact in their own home through the ministry of foster care. Becoming the first Teaching Family accredited program in the state, Josiah White's walks alongside families every step of the way, offering the best training and 24/7 support to foster parents. Lost Sparrows

Lost Sparrows is continually working to educate our community on the impact of early childhood adversity and trauma, and to help develop community-wide approaches to developing resilience. We provide training for parents, caregivers, educators, case managers, youth workers, church staff, and others. By supporting individuals that work with children, we hope to help our community becomes better equipped to help those that come from challenging circumstances, and to end the effects of generational trauma.

National Youth Advocate Program

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is a private, not-for-profit, child, youth and family service organization with a strong reputation for delivering family-centered, strengths-based, innovative programs that maximize the use of natural and community resources. NYAP employs therapeutically educated, trained individuals to serve families and help them heal. NYAP advocates for keeping youth connected to and living with their families whenever possible. NYAP has been serving families for over 45 years and is proud to offer virtual services when needed. NYAP Indiana has 10 regional offices to serve individuals and families throughout the state.

Nightlight Christian Adoptions

Nightlight Christian Adoptions strives to find loving, forever homes for children in need. In our mission to find forever homes for children, we believe that our role in foster care is to empower family reunification. Our mission is achieved through various programs including foster care services, adoption from foster care, domestic, embryo (Snowflakes) ®️, international adoption, and birth mother services. In 2023, our Indiana office opened our foster care services program for children currently in the foster care system.

Orphan Care Alliance

Simply put, James 1:27 describes pure and faultless religion as caring for orphans and widows. Acting on this Biblical invitation, OCA equips Christians and connects them with opportunities to care for children and families in need. SAFY of Indiana

Our communities are stronger when everyone is supported and connected. Can you be that support for a youth in foster care? The Cooper House

The Cooper House exists to foster hope for families by providing support and encouragement in their time of crisis while helping them discover the love and hope of Jesus Christ. Our primary focus is supporting vulnerable families and children in Region 11 who are involved with DCS. We come alongside families as they navigate the foster care system and work towards reunification. We do this by providing a safe home-like environment for court-ordered supervised visitations, emergency removal support, crisis housing, and other individualized family support.

The Isaiah 1:17 Project provides an array of services that are answering long-standing needs in the fostering community and providing children in need of foster care the best chance to know their potential is far greater than their circumstances.

Tennessee Alliance for Kids (TAK)

Tennessee Alliance for Kids (TAK) meets the emergent needs of children entering foster care, those at risk of entering care, and youth aging out. TAK's initiatives include the TAK PAK and FosterLove programs. TAK PAKS provide backpacks with essential and comfort items to children entering foster care, while FosterLove quickly sends new tangible items directly to those in need. Based in Nashville, TAK currently serves the Department of Children’s Services in Middle TN, CASA Nashville, and TBCH.

Association for Guidance Aid Placement and Empathy, Inc. (AGAPE, Inc.)

AGAPE exists to strengthen children and families with the healing love of Christ. Since 1966, AGAPE has been a cornerstone in Middle Tennessee in serving those in crisis through professional counseling, foster care, adoption, and domestic violence care, shelter, and court advocacy. We fulfill our mission by providing hands-on services that break cycles, build relationships and touch lives daily. On any given day, AGAPE will serve more than 150 individuals.

Childhelp TN Foster Family Services

Childhelp provides therapeutic foster homes for children removed from their home due to abuse and/or neglect and have been placed in the state foster care system. We serve children ages birth through 18 years old living in Knox County and the 15 counties that closely border Knoxville. Our trained foster parents and therapeutic services help heal these children through trauma-focused counseling, crisis intervention services, independent living skills instruction, OT, PT, speech and other services

Tennessee CASA Association, Inc

E20,000 children need a CASA Volunteer every year. Tennessee CASA has 31 local programs serving 59 counties across the state. Each CASA program carefully screens and professionally trains volunteers to become Court Appointed Special Advocates in Juvenile Court for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. These volunteers represent the best interests of the child with the goal of securing a safe, permanent home. All it takes to make an impact is a little time and a lot of heart.

Chambliss Center for Children

Chambliss Center for Children is a non-profit organization that has been caring for children since 1872. The agency operates an Early Childhood Education Program and a Residential Program, which recruits foster families to care for children who have been removed from their homes, as well as a Transitional Living Program for children who have aged out of the foster care system. Additionally, the Isaiah 117 House on our campus provides a welcoming space for children awaiting foster placement.
